Jason Botko was born and raised in Clinton, Massachusetts.  In 1993, he made a life altering decision and joined the United States Naval Submarine Force as a Radioman/ET.  After completing boot camp in Illinois, he was assigned to the USS Billfish SSN 676 fast attack submarine stationed in Connecticut; it was there that he attended numerous electronics trainings.
