Jeanette Botko

Owner/CEO

Jeanette Botko is the owner of A+ Medical Company, Inc. of Rock Hill, SC.  She was raised in the small town of Mantua, Ohio.  Jeanette was raised by her parents John and Kathie Jackna, she is the youngest of three.

Growing up Jeanette was a hard worker. At a young age she started working with her father doing catering jobs for friends and family.  They started a small family business processing deer from their home. Jeanette believed this would be her business one day.  Her faith in Jesus Christ took her down a different path when she entered the medical imaging industry.  She started working for a small family-owned company in 1998.  In March of 2000, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. This transformed her life.  Where she thought she was going to own a food business the Lord lead her to start her own medical company.  She took a leap of faith and left her current job and started Medical Electronics Exchange (MEX) in May 2001 from her newly purchased duplex’s spare bedroom/kitchen table.  At age 22, Jeanette was eager to succeed.  Four months later 9/11 happened and the country was devastated.  Jeanette didn’t allow this to bring her down, through hard work and determination, nothing was going to stand in her way.  Her faith and strong will gave her all the more ambition to strive ahead.  She is one to seek out the silver lining in any situation.

Early 2002 Jeanette changed her company name from MEX to A+ Medical Company, Inc.  Shortly after, Jeanette’s relationships within the industry lead her to purchase Whitecross Engineering out of Louisville Kentucky.  This allowed Jeanette to make strides in growing her company.  In 2005 she moved to Rock Hill, SC and A+ Medical Company, Inc. to Fort Mill, SC.

In October 2005 she married Jason Botko. She has 3 step children, together Jason and Jeanette have 1 daughter (Lilli). Lilli is homeschooled and has a passion for animals, especial equine.

In Jeanette’s spare time, she enjoys working on their 20 acres farm building an equestrian riding center and homesteading.

Jason Botko

Vice President/COO

Jason Botko was born and raised in the small town of Clinton Mass. Jason’s grandmother, Lillian Baird, owned an Italian restaurant and bar called “The La Casa Mia”. Prior to his  grandmothers death, Jason’s parents Alexander and JoAnne Botko purchased the business. It was during all these years where he truly learned the importance of family and a strong work ethic. Jason graduated high school in 1989, he had worked at various jobs for the next couple of years and then, in 1993 he made a life altering decision and joined the United States Naval Submarine Force as a Radioman/ET. After completing boot camp in Great Lakes of Illinois, he was assigned to the USS Billfish SSN 676 fast attack submarine, stationed in Groton, CT, where he attended numerous electronics training and schooling. In 1995 he earned his “Dolphins”  which is the insignia submariners wear when they officially pass all the required training to be called a submariner. To this day, this is one of his most prized achievements. The Navy also allowed him to travel to many new countries and interact with various cultures and people.

Although he loved the Submarine force, something just wasn’t right for him. He decided in 1997 not to re-enlist and accepted a job with, Varian Ion Implant Systems in Gloucester, Ma. where he worked in a clean room testing and building systems that manufactured semi-conductor chips. The position allowed him to travel to various Asian countries such as Japan and Taiwan for the first time.  During this time frame Jason decided to visit an old Navy friend who lived in Fort Mill, SC. He fell in love with Carolinas and found work as an engineer for a company called Charmilles Technologies, where due to cuts was laid off a couple years later.

Jason then worked at one or two places until a company called The REMI Group hired him as an engineering consultant. It was here where his life changed forever. He had a vendor in Ohio, who he  became friends with over the phone, Jeanette Jackna owner of  A+ Medical Company,Inc. Two years later Jeanette asked Jason to leave REMI and come to work for her. “I am not sure why to this day I took a gamble on a small little know company A+ Medical Company, Inc.” said Botko

Jeanette and Jason married in 2005. Together they have grown that little unknown company started from a duplex kitchen table in Ohio into one of the most reputable trusted companies in the used medical industry. They now have a 33,500 Square Foot warehouse in Rock Hill SC and hope to expand that to a 70,000 SQF warehouse by 2016/17.

Jason and Jeanette have 4 children and a 20 acre with a riding center and homesteading.

Vicki Breeze

Accounting Clerk

Vicki is a 3rd generation native Floridian, having moved to Rock Hill, SC in 4th grade. After graduation Vicki returned to Florida for a few years then moved to Upstate New York for a decade. Having had enough of cold and snow, she returned to Rock Hill where she still resides.

She never planned on having an office job, but sort of fell into a carrier of accounting. It started out with the cash office at Kmart and grew into accounts payable and then additional areas of accounting. She worked for years in accounting without a degree but after a layoff from a company she was with for 20+ years the business world had decided a degree was a necessary factor in getting hired regardless of experience. So, in 2019, Vicki went back to school. In May 2021 after many full days of work followed by late nights of school, she received her Associates Degree in Accounting. Many of semesters landed Vicki on the Dean’s list, for which she is quite proud and should be.

Vicki is a mother, a daughter and a sister. She says she falls into the classification of sandwich generation with her household consisting of her daughter and mom. Funnily, she says. “If you add my mom’s age and my daughter’s age, they are always the same age. (When my mom was 60, 6+0, and my daughter was 6, they both could be found acting like 6-year old’s.) It definitely makes for an interesting household dynamic. Plus add in the furry household members with all their personalities and life is not boring.”

In Vicki’s down she can be found researching her family history, creating papercrafts, scrapbooking, crocheting, reading, watching tv, and sharing time with her family.
